November SNSO: Outlaws in the Dark!

As the days get shorter and the night falls faster, the stars are right for some truly dark adventures! We have TWO such tabletop excursions for you this month. The first is DARK TRAILS, a Lovecraftian-western setting that uses Dungeon Crawl Classics rules.

The other is OFFWORLDERS, a taught and tense indie title of outlaws and hired guns on the edge of the galaxy, based on the rules for Dungeon World and Apocalypse World.

Both games promise a rollicking good time rolling bones at the table!

DARK TRAILS: When the Lights Go Down on Durango

Strange tracks in the snow, eerie lights in the sky, and missing pioneers in the pass! Will your nerve hold as you climb higher into the Rockies in this spooky horror western? From the publisher: Dark Trails places you and your players against the unforgiving backdrop of a Weird-West corrupted by the taint of an ancient evil seeking its way back to a land it ruled millennia ago. Dark Trails will have your players shaking the dust out of their boots and peeking under the bed before grabbing some shut eye!

OFFWORLDERS: The Sound

The miners on outpost LV-15 thought it was just radio interference at first - simply static from radiation bouncing off the satellite systems orbiting Saurus III. The last thing anyone wanted to do was slow down an operation netting the corporation 30,000 credits a day. Then reality set in, first Glax bled out from the ears. Now Fortan and Gorsik are laid out on a slab. But wait — there’s a ship signaling its arrival! Perhaps the others can buy their way off this floating nightmare…
