Our season of scares is in full swing on October 9 when we return to MOTHERSHIP! This indie sci-fi horror game is equal parts Alien and Event Horizon where "you and your crew try to survive in the most inhospitable environment in the universe: outer space!"

Note: This game is geared for a Mature Audience, due to elements of horror.

Mission brief:

The top secret Ukweli-4 research facility was built to study a strange meteorite, inside of which is a color never before seen by human eyes. Due to an accident, the original researchers have long since died, leaving the facility an empty tomb--a tomb for your crew to explore!

Sept 25 SNSO: Those Dark Places: industrial sci-fi horror!

Space has a dark side

They say no one can hear you scream in space--wanna test that theory? Coming up in our next SNSO night we've got a sci-fi horror game from publisher Osprey Games that's rules-light and gives an extra layer of grime to the industrial edge to the future. Those Dark Places takes imagines a universe where the starships, space stations, and colonies are grim and rusty--and just and dangerous as anything else you might face. 

Mission brief:

You are sent to investigate and potentially salvage another corporation's deep space transport vessel, the Ana-Sin-Emid, which has drifted into our territory. It's unclear if the ship and her crew are in distress, attempting industrial espionage, or a diversion from an impending corporate war. Or could it be something more terrifying?

This session uses a pre-published, sci-fi horror adventure for the Those Dark Places RPG that has been modified for tone and time, but does include elements of horror.
