September: Save reality again and again in The STRANGE Anthology!

Not one, but THREE thrilling Saturdays in September and October we're bringing you A STRANGE Anthology. You'll have three chances to change the destiny of the universe as you travel through "recursions" (alternate realities). Play as one group of investigators that adopts new personas with each jump. It's like The X-files meets Sliders meets Quantum Leap!

Each game will be run by a different game master, completely independently so as to offer a different feel to each reality. Here's a taste of what wild world-hopping is in store:

September 10

OUT OF THE BLUE, INTO THE BLACK
It begins as you, neophyte agents of the Estate, find yourselves adrift in a heretofore unexplored recursion, known to it's inhabitants as Blue Prime. What mysteries await you on an alien shore? Surf's up.

October 1

AT THE EDGE OF EARTH'S SHOALS
Travel to the edge of Earth's Shoals that appears to be influenced by alien minds from elsewhere in The Strange--a planet who's own shoals overlap ours. A world where magic and science are indistinguishable.

October 15

THE RIGHTWISE KING
The final leap brings you and your companions face to face with evil personified. One who gave everything to have their revenge on reality.

Join us and play THE STRANGE as it was meant to be played!

How do you fight an enemy that is woven into the fabric of reality itself? The ruins of an ancient alien civilization may hold the answer, but time is running out and salvation remains elusive. Play as a cybernetic warrior, sentient AI, digital alien, or mysterious ‘resonant’. Join humanity in it’s darkest hour and fight for your right to exist!

NEW BANNER ART!

So long old banner...you didn't look like
much but you had it where it counted.
Yesterday, we retired our old masthead (a hastily made one using MS Paint!) in favor of this incredible new art by illustrator Bill Hauser. He had the arduous task of pulling together something wild, wooly, and as kitchen-sink as the varied games we run.

What he turned in was exactly the cornucopia of space-y imagination we needed. Feast your optics on this:

I told Bill it had to have the usual astronomical suspects (haunted planets, galactic gasses streaming, spacecraft and starbases, etc.) but I wanted some beasts (kosmic kaiju!) in there as well. He outdid himself. And then he went and gave the title a super slick arcade screen effect, as if the lines in the  onscreen version of the logo had been burned in from inside a cathode ray tube display. SO. COOL.

And that endless ocean of stars. ADDED. BY. HAND.

Expect to see this art on new flyers, posters, my car, my bedroom ceiling, the inside of my eyelids, and other swag as we welcome more players and game masters to our little corner of the multiverse.

Way to go Bill!
