Feb. SNSO: REVENGE OF THE BATTLE OF THE BOARD GAMES!

Last year we started a tradition: the week before we return to Con of the North, we bring a bunch of our favorite new board games (and some that are just our favorites) to SNSO to play!

Our game masters bring their game loot and all players get to cast their votes on what they'd like to play. It's like a sci-fi democracy! Some of the games you'll get to choose from, include:

STARSHIP SAMURAI

Let's be honest, there's no resisting a game with a title that cool!

A favorite steampunk game with gorgeous rocketship art!

STAR TREK PANIC

Fend off wave after wave of Klingons, Romulans, and all manner of space hazards as the crew of the original Enterprise!

...or bring YOUR favorite sci-fi board game to try out!!

Jan. SNSO: 40,000 Leagues Under an Alien Sea!

Happy New Year space rangers! We hope you enjoyed all the outer-space and sci-fi fun we had in 2018. Get ready, because we're kicking off 2019 with a trip to the FAR FUTURE--about a billion years or so! Game Master Jenifer Doll has one incredible Numenera RPG adventure in store for our first game of the year. We're going underwater!

40,000 LEAGUES UNDER AN ALIEN SEA!
You're part of a scientific expedition commissioned by the Aeon Priests to pilot the recently completed numenera submersible: The Nautilus! You and your crew will venture to the very bottom of the ocean... and then even further down a submerged cave system. Your quest will take you into the fabled Inner Sea, a layer of water between the Earth's crust and mantle. No one yet has ever made the trip and returned to the surface world to reveal what lies within. Will you?
Start the year off with an evening of intrigue and adventure exploring the mysteries of the deep!
