Social Science: GAMES!

WE ARE SO PSYCHED! Saturday Night Space Opera is returning to the Science Museum of Minnesota! We're bringing RPG Academy back for Social Science: GAME NIGHT! We'll be there to give a primer on tabletop roleplaying games for the 21+ crowd.

Join us on Thursday, April 11 to learn about RPGs, test your mettle with geek trivia, and enter to win some REALLY COOL PRIZES. PLUS: The first 50 gamers who play will take home a free d20 die!

Social Science is a spectacle for all fans of cosplay, comics, and nerd-series classics. Dress up as your favorite superhero, Jedi, or other pop culture hero. Social Science is a unique, 21+ museum event where you can roam the halls explore the exhibits at night!

Hold on to your pagers, True Believers! War between the alien empires of the Kree and the Skrulls has been waged for millennia, and Earth has become the latest battlefield. The Avengers join Captain Marvel, a superhero fused with Kree DNA, to prevent our world from becoming an unwitting pawn. Excelsior! 

This adventure is a mashup of classic comic storylines and the MCU and will kick off the first part of a three-part mini-campaign!  

Mutant Crawl Classics: That's No Moon! 

Set aboard a giant generation ship: The Warden, somewhere in uncharted space. Your team is sent blasting into the unknown in their out-of-control bubble car! Can the Seekers survive long enough to discern the secrets of the Atomic Asteroid, or the motives of the Molecular Emigrés? And why IS main engineering setting off every Geiger counter in the joint?

Shadow of the Century - Fate RPG: Refugee Crisis!

There's superheroes, and then there's the '80s everyday action heroes who make things right every day. Set in the aftermath of the Kree-Skrull War (one of them, anyway!) a bionic woman, the dude with the sentient car, a one (hu)man army, the Sasquatch android, and so on, must figure out the mystery behind a crashed alien ship, before nefarious conspiracies acting behind the scenes can leverage the crash for World Dominance. 

A Fate-based game of 1980s action using the brand new Shadow of the Century.
